Cameron Bannon

President & Founder of Ridgetown Capital

Cameron grew up in an entrepreneurial family and has a deep-rooted passion for building businesses. Over the past ten years, Cameron has helped create value at several companies as an investor, board member, and partner to management teams.

Prior to founding Ridgetown Capital, Cameron spent eight years as an investment professional at Onex, a global investment firm, where he helped lead the firm's investing efforts in the North American packaging industry. In addition to packaging, Cameron has extensive experience evaluating businesses engaged in distribution and supply chain solutions. He has also spent time across a broad range of industrial businesses and end-markets.

Cameron started his career at Goldman Sachs & Co., in the Investment Banking Division. During his time with Goldman Sachs & Co., Cameron advised clients on strategic acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises.

Cameron lives with his wife, young son, and a wonderfully high-energy dog. Cameron and his family love to spend time together outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping, and skiing.

Brett Bauer

Former EVP Strategic Corporate Development, Berry Global

Brett is a seasoned professional in the packaging industry with over 35 years of experience. Brett retired from Berry Global in 2021 as Executive Vice-President of Strategic Corporate Development having led their M&A activity for 23 years and leaving a legacy of 38 completed acquisitions which helped Berry grow revenue from $0.2 to $12 billion.

Prior to joining Berry, Brett was the CFO of Venture Packaging, which was acquired by Berry in 1997. Prior to this, Brett started his professional career with the accounting firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells.

Mike Duffey

Experienced Private & Public Company CFO and Board Member

Mike has a broad base of experience as a financial executive and board member across multiple industries.

In 2021, while serving on the Board of Directors of sgsco, Mike stepped in as interim CFO, playing a critical role in the recapitalization and sale of the company.

Between 2004 and 2019 he held executive finance positions with three STG portfolio companies: IRI, First Advantage, and Escalent. Mike also held the CFO role of 3 publicly traded companies between 1994 and 2004, M.A. Hanna, APW and Covansys.

Throughout his professional career Mike has participated in over 70 M&A transactions.

Bernie is the retired President and CEO of Orora Packaging Solutions. During his 40 year leadership career in the packaging industry, Bernie has developed extensive strategic and tactical expertise in the manufacturing and the distribution of packaging materials in North America.

In the course of his time as the leader of Orora Packaging Solutions, the business grew dramatically via organic market share growth and a robust M&A program.

Bernie has demonstrated an ability to recruit and develop top tier talent. He believes that the “team with the best talent” wins.
